Knitted in Jaeger Roma loosely on a #8 needle. The purpose of this pattern was to show off my newly-learned "perfect bobble" making skills for submission to a calendar publication, and the bobbles pattern reminds me of the bumps on silk shantung fabric, hence the name. I have about 1/3 of it done, and I plan to test my skills at kitchener stitch by making the finished loop totally seamless.
