I am on a weight-loss journey that takes up 100% of my thoughts, day and night. Needless to say, I’ve been a little distracted. The good news: I’m working out 2 hours a day and I weigh 20 lbs less than I did at this time last year. The not so good news: my knitting and other hobbies have been suffering a little because of my preoccupation with my new fitness routine. I guess I should post some knit-porn photos now so this post won’t be a total waste of prime blog real estate.

I finished my Citron Shawl a few weeks ago. I still need to block it to get that pucker out of the center and stretch it out a little, but you get the general idea from this photo:

I added gold beads every other stitch on the last row of the ruffle:

I’m halfway done with a pair of Butterfly Socks. I don’t really need any more socks, but I wanted a mindless project that I could knit on Wednesday nights and not mess up while I’m chatting with my buddies. I converted them to toe-up, but otherwise they’re pretty much the same. I like how they’re turning out so far:
